Rules
It is the responsability of the participants to know and abide to rules in effect during the Quebec Cup events.
Here are a couple of rules handy to know. You will find the complete set of rules further down the page :
FQSC rules
- Only an affiliated club's official sponsors can be identified on clothing worn by this club's members in a competition;
- A club member sporting an individual sponsor logo on his race clothing must be able to present a letter from the club's president authorizing him to do so whenever asked by a race's chief official ;
- An independent cyclist cannot wear a club's race apparel. However, during a regional, provincial or inter-provincial race, an independent cyclist is allowed one commercial identification contained on a surface no bigger than pas 10 cm X 15 cm. The independant cyclist cannot wear any sponsor's identification during national events (Canada Cup, Canadian Championships) or international events (World Cup or World Championships)
During Quebec Cup events, those rules will be applied to ALL CATEGORIES EXCEPT PEE-WEE, MINIME AND BIBITE.
For all races taking place before july 1st, any cyclist wearing a non-regulatory shirt will receive a warning by a race official or from the technical delegate.
For all races taking place after july 1st, any cyclist wearing a non-regulatory shirt will be denied start unless he can change shirts.
Safety
During downhill training, the participant must use :
- a long-sleeved race shirt;
- race pants;
- gloves that cover fingers;
- Or race protection (shin pads, elbow pads or armpards).
All riders must wear a ratified full-face helmet when training or racing on the race track.
